Located centrally between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with easy transport links, and close to the gorgeous Mirambeena Parklands, our facility provides the perfect place for repose, whether it be for short-term, Respite Care, long-term Permanent Care, or specialised care in our Secure Memory Support Unit.
It is important to us that our residents feel at home here, so all rooms are equipped with air-conditioning for individual comfort no matter the weather. In-room large screen TV allows freedom of choice for quiet entertainment and residents can choose between single or companion rooms.
To buoy the spirit and support physical and mental health, our Pimpama Aged Care Residence enjoys the talents of expert nursing staff. Our residents’ nutritional needs are catered for by our passionate and creative onsite Chefs, who ensure both flavour and variety are centre-stage, while the staff at our on-site beauty salon are meticulous in ensuring our residents feel great and look their best.
Attentive Care
Aged Care at Pimpama is about going the extra mile so that our residents can enjoy their independence with every support guaranteed. Our experienced and compassionate care staff provide 24-hour support so that you can rest assured that a Registered Nurse or qualified Carer is always ready to assist. We know the importance of having a multidisciplinary care team on hand, which is why we facilitate the support of GPs, physio and occupational therapists, podiatrists, speech therapists, and diversionary therapists so that every area of care is dealt with by an expert in the field.
Residents who are experiencing cognitive decline or dementia symptoms are supported in our Secure Memory Support Unit. It has been purpose-built to provide a safe environment so that those who wander, or experience confusion can maintain as much independence as possible, without risk of harm. Behaviour Management Specialists and specially trained dementia support Carers make up our Clinical Care team so that your loved one’s needs are understood and managed in a compassionate way.
Authentic Connection
Our residents are not just a number in the system. At Pimpama Aged Care, we recognise that each resident is a person who has lived a full life, with their own story. Our nursing staff and Carers do their best to get to know each resident – their likes, dislikes, and interests – and support them to engage with the social activities and opportunities that they will enjoy. We regularly host celebrations and gatherings to recognise special events and holidays, and weekly art and music therapy classes allow residents to express their creativity and share a chat and laugh with others.
Our facility is designed to allow residents’ friends and family to visit and spend time in beautiful, shaded outdoor areas. A popular feature is our sensory garden, filled with a variety of colours, textures, and scents to engage the senses and provide a place for relaxation and interaction. Our residents are even lucky enough to form friendships with children from the local school, who are involved in community outreach. This intergenerational connection is a valuable addition to our program and is enjoyed by all.
