There were a number of prizes up for grabs at TriCare Runaway Bay Retirement Community’s annual putting competition this month. Held over three weeks on a Friday morning, 25 resident golfing enthusiasts put their putting skills to the test on TriCare Runaway Bay’s purpose built nine hole putting green.
TriCare has unveiled its new state-of-the-art facility at Cypress Gardens Aged Care Residence with residents moving in this week. Following an $18 million investment, the purpose built 73-bed extension leads the way in changing aged care perceptions for the future, with a focus on high quality care and the latest in clinical technology.
It’s fitness first on Friday mornings at TriCare James Ommaney Retirement Community where residents get together for their regular balance class. Accredited exercise physiologist, David Tyler, conducts the weekly classes with an emphasis on balance and falls prevention.
