The team and residents at Kawana Waters Aged Care Residence recently held a lovely farewell for Anne, a beloved member of the Lifestyle Team. Anne is retiring and heading up to Harvey Bay for a well-earned rest after many years dedicated to caring for others.
A surprise afternoon tea was held for Anne during the knitting group and she was presented with a beautiful card hand-made by resident Shirley which was full of lovely messages. Not surprisingly, it was a great turnout and Anne was visibly moved as she let everyone know how much she would miss all the beautiful residents.
The Kawana Waters family will miss Anne, especially all her wonderful craft sessions. We wish Anne all the best of luck in her next adventure.
