  • Responding to emergency situations and providing basic First Aid experience is a must
  • Cleaning common areas
  • Maintaining accurate written records in all areas
  • Assisting with meal services.

ABOUT YOU

You are warm and friendly and enjoy meeting people and building relationships. You have a natural empathy towards older people as demonstrated in similar roles, or perhaps you have enjoyed a rewarding personal experience with an older relative or friend.

You are organised and efficient, and capable of managing first response situations that may involve minor personal injuries to our residents.

As the customer face of our business, you can be trusted to work unsupervised delivering great service to village residents.

What does a typical shift look like?

During a typical day-time shift you would be assisting with the meal service in our on-site restaurant (table service, meal delivery to units), dusting and vacuuming public areas, maintaining indoor plants and the various first aid kits. In addition to this, the night-time shift also secures the community areas of an evening in conjunction with the security contractor.

Of course, you will also be the first responder to any resident alarm that is activated. Although most calls are related to minor issues, you will occasionally have to apply your first aid skills where a resident has fallen and injured themselves.

Our Benefits:

  • Career opportunities and development
  • Part of a friendly and supportive team
  • Opportunity to work in other communities (including aged care) in other locations
  • Free Employee Assistance Program
