TriCare’s Jindalee Aged Care Residence, our 93 bed facility located 12 km south-west from Brisbane’s central business district, is recruiting for an experienced permanent part-time Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
On offer are varied shifts – am, pm and night shifts, up to 40+ hours per fortnight are available. We seek a nurse that can work to suit our 24/7 working environment. TriCare’s managers are flexible and will consider your work/life balance in planning of the roster, but at the same time, we value your reliability and enthusiasm to ensure our residents receive the best quality care.
Weekend and night shift work attracts penalty rates according to the Nurses Award 2010.
TriCare’s Registered Nurses report directly to the on-site Clinical Manager. The role is responsible for working closely with your manager and being 100% team-orientated to achieve real resident-focused outcomes.
Your skills, experience and attributes include the following:
- Knowledge in ACFI and its associated documentation
- 2 years’ experience in a residential aged care environment
- Specialty nursing skills (advantageous)
- Adept at using electronic clinical management systems
- Knowledge of Emprevo to publish vacant shifts to available employees (advantageous)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Current police check within last 3 months, and evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement of the role.
