About the Role:
As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life and well-being of our residents through the implementation of engaging lifestyle programs and purposeful leisurely pursuits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Activity Planning: Develop diverse lifestyle programs tailored to residents’ interests, abilities, and preferences. Ensure activity areas are well-equipped and maintained to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for residents.
- Resident Assessment: Conduct and review Lifestyle Assessments to ensure needs-based programming.
- Program Implementation: Oversee the execution of planned activities, ensuring safety and inclusivity. Encourage and inspire residents to actively participate in scheduled activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Lifestyle Team, demonstrating leadership in coordinating activities.
- Documentation: Maintain meticulous documentation, including concise notes and accurate records related to resident participation and preferences. Utilise technologies and clinical management software efficiently for efficient record-keeping. Demonstrate intermediate skills in using common Microsoft applications.
- Execution: Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, showcasing excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor while encouraging residents to actively engage in various activities and events.
Skills & Experience:
- Cert IV Leisure & Health qualification.
- Adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn.
- Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
- Friendly and effective communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support Lifestyle Team Members.
