Instructional Designer

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Instructional Designer to work as part of the HR Team, at TriCare. 

In this position, you will support new and existing employees to be successful in their roles through the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of contemporary and engaging learning experiences. Working with clinical SME’s you will work to ensure high quality and contextual learning pathways are created and maintained. 

This role will be office based, located in the leafy suburb of Upper Mount Gravatt. With onsite parking available and life flexibility offered. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop training programs using instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and multimedia tools. 
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify learning objectives, content, and delivery methods. 
  • Develop and deliver training materials in various formats including e-learning modules, instructor led training, virtual training, and job aids. 
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Experience, Skills, and Attributes include:

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in instructional design and training development.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, to design technical clinical training that engages employees in learning effectively. 
  • Experience in eLearning operation and development of eLearning content, LMS and relevant software
  • Developing and delivering learning modules
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and e-learning authoring tools.
