Group Facilities and Assets Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Group Facilities and Asset Manager to lead the Assets team in a permanent full-time capacity. In this position you will support your team to be successful in their roles through the mentorship and continuous improvement of processes and engaging with direct and non-direct reports to manage the Tricare’s buildings, assets, and maintenance operations efficiently. 

This role will be office based, located in the leafy suburb of Upper Mount Gravatt. With onsite parking available and life flexibility offered. 

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Review, implement, and manage a maintenance program for all the buildings and assets for smooth operations. 
  • Evaluate maintenance processes with preventative approach, budget, execution and delivery timeframes, work health and safety and industry regulations. 
  • Develop and manage the annual capital and maintenance budget. 
  • Collaborate with developments team for new building projects across QLD, NSW, and VIC. 
  • Monitor the engagements and contractual arrangements of external parties as per the policies guidelines. 
  • Annual auditing the assets and Facilities for maintenance, capital, execution and delivery. 

Experience, skills, and attributes include:

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in a leadership role and facilities and assets maintenance. 
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, to maximise collaboration and project completion in time.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects operation and building developments. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and e-learning authoring tools.
