Our splendid new TriCare Aged Care residence in Williams Landing is the first of its kind in the area. We saw a need for a relaxed, upmarket residential Aged Care facility in Williams Landing and took the opportunity to fill that gap with the TriCare difference. Our expert, caring team, led by Facility Manager Nithin Shetty, are ready to hit the ground running, and are set to provide genuine care that reflects the warmth of a family home.
A location for better living
At just thirty minutes from Melbourne by car, and close to the Williams Landing train station on the Werribee line, this TriCare Williams Landing is perfectly placed in the south-western suburbs. Situated in the city of Wyndham, halfway between family-friendly Werribee and beautiful Altona, Williams Landing is the best of both worlds. Set right next to peaceful parklands and close to shops, healthcare options, and community facilities, everything you need is close to hand.
The Addison Wetlands, right next door to TriCare Williams Landing is a beautiful spot for a picnic with a loved one, with accessible walking paths and lovely views over the lake that attracts diverse bird life. Or for a memorable day trip option, why not consider Altona Beach? Just 15 minutes’ drive from our Aged Care residence, Altona Beach is one of Melbourne’s most picturesque, with calm, clear water, and accessible walking paths for a relaxing stroll, or throwing a line in. If you really want to take advantage of that fresh sea air feeling, Altona is Australia’s first year-round, fully wheelchair accessible beach! With beach matting all the way to the water, and beach wheelchairs available for hire, you and your loved one can dip your toes in and return feeling refreshed.
Catching up, dining out
TriCare Williams Landing provides top-notch, Chef prepared meals to keep our residents happy and healthy, but sometimes you just want to try something different. Luckily, our residence is surrounded by some fabulous dining and café options for you to try with your loved one. Just a seven-minute drive will see you enjoying a bistro pub meal at the Phoenix Hotel in nearby Point Cook. Or perhaps you’d fancy the cuisine of the subcontinent at Point Cook’s Kesari Indian Kitchen, which comes with a personal recommendation from Williams Landing Facility Manager, Nithin Shetty. At less than fifteen minutes’ drive, the Werribee RSL is a wonderful choice for good food and free entertainment. If you’re pressed for time, The Jolly Miller café is serving snacks and meals right next door to our Aged Care community – and they even have menu options for your fussy, four-legged friend! The multitude of nearby dining locations also means that ordering in your favourite food is a breeze.
Your health care needs, sorted
Williams Landing has a wide range of health providers available to our residents, over and above those that visit our Aged Care residence regularly. We have two medical practices within five minutes of our facility, and allied health, physiotherapy, psychology, and dental practitioners all close by. A pharmacy is also conveniently located just across the road in the Williams Landing shopping centre. And if you are looking to unwind and boost your levels of wellness, there are a number of massage therapists in the area for both remedial and relaxation massage. Just a six minute drive in Point Cook, you’ll find Anika’s Remedial Massage Therapy – not only does Anika offer a wide range of healing treatments, she is also a registered nurse.
