Cypress Gardens Aged Care Residence, TriCare’s 93 bed extra services facility, located in Clear Island Waters, is recruiting for Casual Food Services Attendant to undertake varied hours and shifts.
This position offers casual employment and your hourly rate will be supplemented with the 25% casual loading. You will work shifts any time between 6 am and 7.30 pm. and have access to excellent penalty rates and allowances.
You will contribute to an efficient team providing excellence in food preparation, presentation and service for our residents. In addition, you will have the important task of maintaining high level standards of hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
To succeed, you will possess experience, knowledge and skills in the following areas:-
- Competent in food preparation
- Safe food handling practices and HACCP
- Excellent and prompt food service/post-meal time cleaning skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Strong customer service ethos and empathy for the elderly
- Adherence to Work Health and Safety guidelines.
