TriCare’s Bundaberg Aged Care Residence, our modern 86 bed facility in the Wide Bay-Burnett region, is recruiting for an experienced a casual Personal Care Worker.
You will be Certificate III qualified and be able to undertake varied shifts. Night duty and weekend shifts attract penalty rates according to the Aged Care Award 2010. As a casual employee, your pay rate is boosted with the 25% casual loading. All employees receive a uniform and laundry allowance.
Rosters are planned a fortnight in advance, but we appreciate your flexibility in filling additional shifts at times with short notice. You can set your availability in the Emprevo App on your mobile phone to allow managers/team leaders to offer shifts to you.
Reporting to the registered/clinical nurse on shift, you will provide exemplary care to the residents. Essential criteria for this role include:
- Possession of a Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care
- 6 months’ experience in paid employment for an aged care provider
- Reliability, flexibility and working as a positive team member
- Demonstrated resident advocacy, ensuring dignity for residents
- Adept at using tablet-based electronic clinical management systems
Evidence of current Flu Vaccination and full COVID-19 vaccination are mandatory requirements of the role.
