TriCare’s Jindalee Aged Care Residence, our 93 bed facility, located 12 km south-west from Brisbane’s central business district, is recruiting for a full time Clinical Nurse Coordinator.
To fulfil the requirements of this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and possess experience in a senior nurse/management role.
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will coordinate quality nursing services and ensure that all nurses and personal care workers are adhering to their scope of practice in clinical care. In addition to possessing broad clinical expertise and specialist knowledge, you must be an outstanding communicator and an active participant in continuous improvement activities.
Key Requirements, Skills and Experience:
- Aged care experience
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration (3 years)
- Employee training, management and human resources skills and experience
- Ability to use computers and technology efficiently
- Ability to effectively use our tablet-based care management system
- A comprehensive understanding of Quality Agency accreditation processes
- Familiarity with Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) and documentation
Additional qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will be considered favourably.
Evidence of Flu Vaccination and full COVID-19 vaccination are mandatory requirements of the role.
