TriCare operates thirteen residential aged care nursing centres, four hostels and six retirement villages across southeast Queensland. They also operate one retirement village in Melbourne and another at Hastings Point, Northern NSW.
As a private, Queensland-owned company, TriCare operates under a Board of Directors and boasts a team of experienced and committed professionals.
TriCare Directors are actively involved in the day-to-day management of the company, further demonstrating the ongoing commitment to the aged care industry.
TriCare values people as its greatest asset and recognises that future success depends largely on creating a sound skill base by effectively training and developing staff, and building trust and confidence while continually striving for excellence. Through placing importance on these values, TriCare trained staff are highly regarded by other industry providers.
TriCare’s standards of care, supported by ongoing Quality Assurance programmes, are now acknowledged as the benchmark for quality of care in the aged care industry and in many instances initiatives implemented by TriCare have been Australian firsts, leading the way in self insurance and staff self improvement.
TriCare prides itself on not only maintaining industry standards, but also exceeding them to raise the benchmark in aged care. TriCare has been independently recognised as surpassing best practice in areas such as equal employment opportunity, research and development, regulatory standards, food and hygiene services and dementia management.
These sound credentials give TriCare’s residents full confidence that their move into a TriCare community will provide them with a secure and worry-free lifestyle.
